Badam Kesar Milk

Almond contains lots of healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium, and vitamin E. It is a very healthy and delicious drink that provides energy and rejuvenates the body.

Total Preparation time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  1. Whole Milk – 2 cups
  2. Almonds – 25
  3. Water – 1/2 cup
  4. Sugar – 1tbsp (As needed)
  5. Saffron Strands – few

Preparation Method

  1. Soak the almonds in hot water for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the almond skin, add 1/4 cup of milk and saffron strands. to the almond. Grind this into a smooth paste.
  3. Heat a heavy bottom pan, add the remaining milk, along with the 1/2 cup of water.
  4. Let the milk boil for 5-7 minutes in a low flame.
  5. Now add the almond paste into the boiling milk and stir it slowly in low heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Add, the sugar and stir it for a minute.
  7. Garnish it with a few finely chopped almonds and saffron strands.
  8. You can drink this hot, or you can refrigerate this and serve it cold.
