Coconut chutney

Coconut chutney is a South Indian chutney, side dish, and a condiment. It is served with any type of Dosa, Idli, Pongal and Vada.

Total Preparation time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

  1. Coconut-1 cup
  2. Roasted gram-1/2 cup
  3. Green chili-4-5
  4. Garlic-1
  5. Water
  6. Oil-2 tsp
  7. Salt as needed

Sauté

  1. Mustard
  2. Urad dal
  3. Curry leaves

Preparation method

  1. Add shredded coconut,roasted gram, green chili, garlic, salt, and little water to the Blender / Mixie.
  2. Run the blender/mixie till it gets grinded well.
  3. Sauté it with mustard, urad dal & curry leaves in oil and pour it in chutney.
