Curry leaves chutney

Curry leaves are a rich source of iron and folic acid. Commonly used as a seasoning, this leaf adds a special flavor to every dish. This curry leaves chutney can be served as a side dish to idli and dosa.

Total Preparation time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  1. Coconut – 1 cup
  2. Curry leaves – 5 sprig
  3. Green chili -5
  4. Oil – 2 teaspoon
  5. Water as needed
  6. Salt – 1 teaspoon( as needed)

Sauté

  1. Mustard – 1/2teaspoon
  2. Urad dal -1/2 teaspoon
  3. curry leaves – few

Preparation method

  1. Take a pan. Pour oil, add green chili, salt, curry leaves finally add coconut
  2. Make sure coconut doesn’t burn
  3. Once it is cool down, grind it in a mixie with a small amount of water.
  4. Then Pour oil in another pan. Sauté mustard, urad dal, after it splutters, add curry leaves. pour in top of curry leaves chutney bowl.
