Idli

Idli is one of the favorite South Indian breakfast and dinner. It is most nutritious food as well. Idli is a fermented food, and fermentation increases bio-availability in food. Helping the body assimilate more nutrition.

Prepartion Method

  1. Take the idli batter from refrigerator ahead of time to be in room temperature for soft idli.
  2. Fill half of the idli pot with water.
  3. Heat the idli pot on the stovetop for 10 minutes.
  4. Take the idly plate that comes with the idli pot and fit it with the white color cotton cloth. If you have non-stick idli cooker, you may grease it with the cooking oil.
  5. Pour idli batter on the plate.
  6. Steam the idli for 10 minutes.
