Mushroom are packed with nutritional value. They are low in calories and it has great source of fiber, proteins and antioxidants.Kadai Mushroom is a Flavorful Indian dish.It goes well with rice or Chapathi .
Ingredients
- Mushroom – 400grams
- Onion – 1 Large
- Tomato – 2 Medium
- Capsicum – 1/2 Cup
- Coriander Leaves- 1 Sprig
- Mint Leaves – 1 Sprig
- Mustard Seeds – 1tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Salt – as needed
Ingredients to Grind
- Whole Black Pepper – 2tsp
- Jeera Seeds – 2 tsp
- Whole Red Chilis – 9
- Coriander Seeds/ Powder – 1tbsp
Preparation method
- Dry roast the ingredients inside of “Ingredients to Grind”.
- Blend the dry roasted ingredients and coarsely powder it.
- In a blender separately blend the tomato into a puree.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Pour oil, add the mustard and curry leaves.
- Add the chopped capsicum and sauté it well.
- Now add the chopped onion and sauté it till it turns color. Add ginger garlic paste, add the tomato puree. Add salt and cook it for 3 minutes.
- Then add the sliced mushroom and the grinded spices. Mix it well.
- Add a cup of water and mix it well. Cover it with a lid. Cook it for about 7 minutes in a low flame.
- After the mushroom is cooked well, serve it hot.
