Kuzhi Paniyam is a traditional South Indian chettinadu style food. It is a sweet dish with healthy ingredients like Jaggery and freshly shredded coconut.

Ingredients
- Idli batter – 3 cups
- Jaggery powder – 2 and 1/2 cups
- Shredded coconut – 1 cup
- Salt (Add little bit to enhance the sweetness)
Ghee / oil
Preparation method
- Take 3 cups of idli batter in a separate bowl. Add 2 and 1/2cups of jaggery powder and mix it well.
- Add freshly shredded coconut to it.
- Add a small amount of salt to enhance the sweet taste.
- Pour ghee to paniyaram vessel.
- Add the sweet
paniyaram batter into that cook it in low flame to avoid it turn brown quickly (make sure turn both sides as it helps to cook well inside).
