Paneer is an Indian cheese that is rich in nutrients like calcium, vitamins, and minerals. Paneer Butter Masala goes well with Naan or Chapathi.

Ingredients
- Paneer – 400 grams
- Onion- 1 large
- Tomato – 2 med
- Cashew Nuts – 6
- Red Chili Powder – 1 1/2 tbsp (optional)
- Jeera Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 2 tsp (as needed)
- Red Food Color – 1/4 tsp
- Heavy Whipping Cream – 1/4 cup
- Unsalted Butter – 1/4 tbsp
Prepartion Method
- In a pan, add butter, add the onion, cook it until it turns to a golden brown color. Then add the cashew nuts and mix them well. Now add the tomatos, cook until mushy.
- Then add red chili powder and salt. Mix these well. After add cumin and coriander powder. Now add the red food color. Blend this into a smooth paste by adding water.
- In the pan, pour oil. Add jeera and the smooth paste. Add enough water and mix it well. Now add the paneer cubes. Cover the pan with a lid. After the paneer is cooked well, add the heavy whipping cream. Mix this well, once again.
- Serve it hot.
