Vermicelli is loaded with fiber. Semiya paal payasam is very rich and delicious . It can be served as a festive dessert or during any special occasions .
Total Preparation time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- Whole Milk – 2 cups
- Sugar – 1/2 Cup
- Cashew nut – 10
- Semiya – 100 grams
- Ghee – 2 tsp
Prepartion Method
- In a non stick pan, Add ghee and roast the cashew nuts in a low flame.Keep it aside in a separate bowl.
- Then roast vermicelli in the same pan which gives nice aroma to the payasam.
- In a heavy bottomed pan boil the whole milk for 5 minutes in a low flame.
- Add the roasted vermicelli to the boiled milk and cook it till vermicelli turns to a soft texture.
- Now add sugar and mix it well and add roasted cashew nut cook it for 2 minutes.
- Serve it hot .
