Ingredients
- Rice – 1/2 cup
- Moong dal – 1/4 cup
- Jaggery powder – 3/4 cup
- Water – 3cups
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon (to enhance sweetness)
- shredded coconut – 1 tablespoon
Sauté
- Ghee – 2 tablespoon
- Cashew nut – 10
- Raisins – 5 (optional)
Preparation method
- Wash the rice and moong dal in water and drain the water.
- Cook rice & moong dal in a pressure cooker with enough water. It may take 3 to 4 whistles to cook.
- Then mash the cooked rice & moong dal with a ladle then add jaggery powder and mix it well.
- Medium heat a pan. Pour ghee and sauté cashew nut till it turns to golden brown color. Mix roasted cashew nut,
