Vegetable Salna

Vegetable Salna is the best combo with paratha. The spices give great flavor to the salna.

Ingredients

  1. Onion – 1 medium size
  2. Tomato -1 medium size
  3. Mixed vegetable – 1 bowl
  4. Curry leaves – 1 sprig
  5. Coriander leaves – few
  6. Salt -2tsp(as needed)

Ingredients to Grind (finely grind it in mixie)

  1. Shredded coconut- 2 tbsp
  2. Ginger – 1/4 inch piece
  3. Garlic flakes – 3
  4. whole Red Chili – 4
  5. Kalpasi/Black stone flower -5
  6. Cinnamon – 3 sticks
  7. Cardamom-2
  8. cloves -2
  9. Cashew nuts – 5

Preparation method

  1. Medium heat a nonstick pan pour oil add fennel seeds and kalpasi after it splutters add curry leaves.
  2. Add onion fry until it turns color then add tomatoes cook it well.
  3. Now add mixed vegetables stir it well and add salt mix it well.
  4. Add the grinded smooth paste and pour a cup of water cook it in a low flame.
  5. Cover it with a lid until the vegetables are cooked completely.
  6. serve it with paratha.
