Ragi or Finger Millet is one of the most nutritious and healthy breakfast. It is easy to make in a short time. It can be made in both sweet and savory version.

Ingredients
- Ragi Vermicelli – 200 grams.
- Onion – 1 medium size
- whole red chili – 2
- Oil – 1 teaspoon(as needed)
- shredded coconut – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – 3/4 teaspoon (as needed)
Sauté
- Mustard – 1 tablespoon.
- Urad dal – 1tablespoon.
- Chana dal – 1tablespoon
- Curry leaves – 1sprig
Preparation method
- Take Ragi vermicelli in a large bowl, Immerse it fully on water for 2 minutes and drain the water.
- Then heat an Idli pot. Add half of the pot filled with water, when water starts boiling well. Steam the ragi vermicelli inside the idli plate which is covered with white cotton cloth and steam it for 5-7 minutes.
- Medium heat a pan. Pour little oil in the pan, Then add Mustard dal, Urad dal, after it splutters add Red Chilli, little Salt and Curry Leaves to it. Add finely chopped onion and fry it for 1 minute.
- Mix the cooked ragi semiya in the pan and add shredded coconut.
